Team 422 Competes every
year in this competition.
FLL - FIRST Lego League
Elementary and middle
school students aged 9-14 create a small robot using LEGO©
Mindstorms™.
Maggie L. Walker Governor's School & Team 422 hosts the
Richmond Area Competition every year.
FVC - FIRST Vex Challenge
Smaller scale competion
made possible through a partnership with RadioShack.
Team 422 is helping to get teams organized in the Richmond area.

About the FIRST Robotics
Competition:
Teams receive a new game
design each year. (2007

Some parts are provided and the rules standardize extra spending.
Six weeks are given to design, build, and test the robot.
